SEBI Launches SCORES 2.0: Enhanced Investor Complaint Redressal System

Launch DateEffective from April 1, 2024.
Previous SystemSCORES launched in June 2011, allowing investors to lodge complaints online.
Key Features- Auto-Routing and Auto-Escalation. - Uniform redressal timeline of 21 calendar days. - Two-Level Review by 'Designated Body' and SEBI. - Integration with KYC Registration Agency.
Registration Process- Mandatory registration on SCORES. - Click "Register here" under "Investor Corner" on SCORES portal. - Log in, provide complaint details, select category, entity name, and attach documents if required.
Complaint Confirmation- System-generated unique registration number. - Email acknowledgment sent with registration number.
App UpdateOld SCORES app discontinued; new app to be launched soon.
Existing ComplaintsExisting complaints from old SCORES can be viewed; new complaints must be lodged via SCORES 2.0.
