Structure & Components- Central Sector Scheme (CS): Fully funded by Central Govt.
- Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS): Shared funding with states

Economic Contribution- Supports 30 million people
- Contributes 1.09% to India's GVA and 6.724% to agricultural GVA
- India is the 3rd largest fish producer globally (175.45 lakh tons in FY 2022-23)
Transformative Schemes- Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF): Rs. 7,522.48 crore
- Kisan Credit Card (KCC) extended to fishers and fish farmers
