Historical SignificanceOperation Trident: On December 4-5, 1971, Indian Navy missile boats (INS Veer, INS Nipat, INS Nirghat) attacked Pakistan's Naval HQ in Karachi, sinking three Pakistani ships (including PNS Khaibar) with minimal Indian casualties.
