Bhagwan Birsa MundaBorn on 15th November 1875 in Ulihatu village, Jharkhand. Led the Ulgulan (Great Tumult) movement against British rule and the Zamindari system. Revered as "Dharti Aaba" (Father of the Earth).
Key InitiativesPM JANMAN (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups Development Mission): Focuses on 75 PVTGs across 18 States and UTs, providing housing, healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities.
DAJGUA (Digital Archives of Janjatiya Gaurav and Unique Achievements): Documents tribal freedom fighters, folklore, art, and oral traditions for public access.
Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Programs: Includes Van Dhan Vikas Kendras and micro-enterprise models under TRIFED and NSTFDC to empower tribal producers.
